When John Davidson was head analyst for Rangers games on MSG Networks, I asked him about what I call the broadcasters "Fairness Doctrine."
"When you do a game" I said, "percentage-wise, how much do you favor your team over the opposition?"
J.D., as always, was totally honest. His answer was 60 percent favoring the Rangers; 40 percent for the rival.
